In The F brings in Jung Kuho and Kim Jungmi for brand innovation drive

■ World-famous designer Jung Kuho has been hired as Head Creative Director to take charge of In The F’s rebranding drive
■ Samsung Group’s first female executive Kim Jungmi also hired to create synergy effect with Jung

After presenting a refreshed image with successive launches of new brands, the fashion company In The F (www.inthef.co.kr CEO: Baek Jeong-Heum) is continuing its innovation and renewal drive, including its key brands, such as Joinus, Compagna, Tate, and Truegen.

After successfully bringing stability to retail businesses Bind and Mosvani, In The F launched two new brands – golf-wear brand ‘Torbist’ with affiliate business S&A, and the e-commerce women’s wear brand ‘ahwe’.

Amid this situation, designer Jung Kuho has been hired as Head Creative Director to ensure that the company’s rebranding drive is heading in the right direction and offer a wider perspective.

Designer Jung is considered the leading creative director in the Korean fashion industry, and highly respected among art, performance and artistic communities.

Additionally, in order to improve performance of In the F’s existing brands, Joinus, Compagna, Tate, and Trugen, which had been operating separately under a brand-based structure, the company has been reorganized into a function-based structure, separating product and sales departments, in order to strengthen each brand’s specialities.

To lead the product department, Kim Jungmi has been brought in as executive director. She has extensive experience in branding and sourcing for a variety of clothing businesses, including womenswear, casual, SPA and sports. Director Kim was also one of the first female executives at the Samsung Group, and she has been brought in as the best figure to realize Creative Director Jung Kuho’s innovative ideas, with hopes of a great synergy effect.

The sales department will be led by Executive Director Kim Yong-beum. Director Kim joined In The F in January 2020. Since then he has reorganized all of In the F’s brands distribution lines, and at the same time spearheaded efforts in doubling the sales capacity of the company’s four key brands.
