Sae-A Trading, one of the world’s largest apparel manufacturers, has officially joined the Fashion Forever Green Pact, a global initiative led by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). As a voluntary participant, Sae-A Trading is now part of this industry-wide effort to support sustainable forest management and contribute to environmental preservation.

The FSC certification represents an international standard designed to prevent forest degradation and promote sustainable forest management practices. Products and packaging bearing the FSC label indicate that the forest resources used have been responsibly sourced, making it a reliable choice for protecting the world’s forests.

The Fashion Forever Green Pact, proposed by the FSC, encourages apparel companies that use materials like wood and rubber to actively switch to FSC-certified materials sourced from sustainable forests for regenerated fibers such as rayon, modal, and lyocell.

Sae-A Trading is committed to expanding its use of FSC-certified regenerated fibers, such as modal and viscose, across its core production lines. By overseeing the entire supply chain—from yarn production to final product delivery—Sae-A Trading aims to lead the industry in adopting sustainable materials certified by the FSC.

Through these initiatives, Sae-A Trading aims to combat deforestation, which threatens biodiversity and the livelihoods of indigenous forest communities. The company is poised to meet the needs of global brands and buyers who are increasingly requiring to verify the sustainability of the products they purchase.
